Many patients with previously undiagnosable conditions have seen their conditions more easily identified under Dr. Mandel-Brehm's research to identify novel antigens. While Dr. Mandel-Brehm's research has previously focused on paraneoplastic diseases, her novel approach to antigen discovery has the potential to elucidate a host of autoimmune diseases.
